Would you like to learn Greek and feel comfortable speaking it in your everyday life? Greek lessons with a native speaker, tailored to your level, with an emphasis on communication and pronunciation.

I came to Greece six months ago for work and wanted to learn Greek, but I didn't know a single word and had absolutely no idea where to start. To be honest, I was quite anxious about learning the language and wasn't sure I would be able to do it.

I found Angela through Superprof, and from our very first lesson we immediately connected. I can honestly say that I'm very happy I found her. She has a unique way of approaching each student and an incredible ability to explain things clearly and make learning feel easy and enjoyable.

Little by little, I started making progress and was able to use Greek in my everyday life. Learning the language helped me connect much more with my colleagues at work and brought me closer to Greek culture and everyday life.

One of the most unexpected and special things that happened was that I met a Greek woman and we eventually became a couple. We speak Greek together, and she has been genuinely impressed by how quickly I have learned and how much my Greek has improved.

Looking back, I never imagined that starting from knowing absolutely no Greek would lead to this much progress in such a short time. Angela gave me not only the knowledge of the language, but also the confidence to actually use it in real life.

If you're starting from zero and feel overwhelmed or nervous about learning Greek, I would definitely recommend Angela. She makes the process feel much easier and more enjoyable, while helping you build the confidence to actually speak.

I took Greek lessons with Angela about a year ago, when I came to Greece as an Erasmus student. I wanted to learn the language not only for everyday communication, but also because I wanted to feel more connected to the country and its people.

From the very beginning, Angela was incredibly patient and supportive. She taught me Greek in a way that made learning feel enjoyable rather than stressful, and I genuinely looked forward to every lesson. She has a wonderful ability to explain things clearly and make even more difficult concepts feel simple and approachable.

I also believe that her own background plays an important role in the way she teaches. Having parents from different countries, growing up and going to school in Greece, and having personal experience with learning languages, she understands first-hand the challenges that come with learning a new language and adapting to a different culture. This makes her especially empathetic towards students who are starting from scratch or feel nervous about making mistakes.

What really stood out to me was how personalized her approach was. Her background in coaching and her daily work with people have given her a great understanding of how differently each person learns and communicates. She doesn't treat every student the same way; she takes into account your level, goals, needs, personality and pace, and adapts the lessons accordingly.

If you're looking for someone who will help you learn real, useful Greek while making you feel comfortable, understood and confident enough to actually speak, I would absolutely recommend Angela.

I came to Greece five months ago because my boyfriend is Greek and we decided to get married. I’m originally from Italy, so when I first arrived, Greek felt completely impossible to me. I didn’t know where to start or how I would ever manage to learn it.
My boyfriend’s friend suggested that I use Superprof and find a teacher I would connect with, and that’s how I found Angela. I had initially been told to look for a Greek philologist, but I chose Angela instead, and I’m so glad I did.
Although Angela hasn’t studied Greek Philology, her academic background, combined with her ability to communicate, explain things clearly and understand people, makes her an excellent teacher. She is incredibly patient, persistent and supportive, and she has a real gift for teaching.
There were moments when I genuinely wanted to give up. Greek is not an easy language, especially when you are starting from the beginning, but Angela was always there to encourage me.
She believed in me before I was able to believe in myself.
Thanks to her, I can now take part in real-time conversations in Greek, and I’m gradually learning to write as well. What once seemed impossible has become something I can actually do. And the best part is that learning Greek with Angela has even managed to become fun.
I think everyone needs a teacher like Angela, someone who believes in you, encourages you and doesn’t give up on you, even in the moments when you feel like giving up on yourself. I’m truly grateful I found her.
