My lessons are built around one idea: understanding English, not just memorising it.
As a linguist trained at two of Moscow's most respected universities, I approach every lesson with both academic rigour and genuine curiosity about language. I don't follow a one-size-fits-all method. I start by understanding how you think, what you already know, and where you want to go. From there, every lesson is tailored to you.
A typical lesson includes:
- A warm-up through conversation or a short reading to get you thinking in English
- Focused work on your specific goal — grammar, vocabulary, writing, speaking or comprehension
- Real examples drawn from literature, professional contexts, or everyday life, whatever is most relevant to you
- A short review and clear takeaways so you leave every session with something concrete
I work with three groups of students:
- For children, lessons are structured but playful. I use storytelling, games and visuals to keep young learners engaged while building strong foundations in reading, writing and speaking.
- For adults and general learners, I focus on fluency and confidence, helping you move from technically correct to naturally expressive. Literature and authentic texts often feature in my lessons, because real language lives in real writing.
- For IT and tech professionals, I offer targeted vocabulary, writing skills and communication practice built around the tech world — documentation, emails, presentations and international workplace communication.
What makes me different is that I learned English myself, with dedication, study and a deep love for the language. I know where it feels hard, and I know how to make it feel natural. My Russian-speaking students in particular often find this background invaluable.
Lessons are available online and in person in Larnaka.
