I’ve had a really good experience learning with her. She’s very friendly and easy to talk to, so you feel relaxed right from the start, which makes speaking German way less intimidating.
She explains things clearly and focuses more on actually understanding the language instead of just learning rules by heart. The lessons feel structured but still pretty natural and flexible. I always feel guided without being rushed.

I reached A1 with her and I’m really proud. She’s kind and empathetic, and explains not just how things work, but why. She encourages you to speak German from the very beginning and helps a lot with that - she also notices right away if something isn’t clear. She completely adapts to your pace and goals. I can recommend her!

I wholeheartedly recommend Sophia as a German tutor! I have known Sophia for over two years since we first met through a university language exchange programme, and I have always been thoroughly impressed by her dedication.
What truly makes her a "Superprof" is her brilliant, patient approach to teaching. She has an exceptional ability to break down complex German grammar into easily digestible pieces. Her teaching methods are highly interactive, and she always ensures that her materials are meticulously prepared and personalised to suit your specific learning style.
A particular experience that stands out was when I was struggling immensely with German sentence structure and the four cases ahead of a major exam. Sophia took the time to walk me through practical, real-life conversational scenarios and tailored exercises until it completely clicked for me. She built up my confidence tremendously.
Her patience, engaging demeanour, and sheer passion for the German language make her an outstanding educator. I would highly recommend Sophia to any Superprof members looking to improve their German – whether you are a complete beginner starting from scratch or an advanced learner aiming to perfect your fluency!
